Duo Piano Support

The app has not been publicly released on the App Store. This page describes how to use the planned release.

Designed for iPhone Duo. Also works on regular iPhone.

Play freely and practice local piano MIDI with staff notation, numbered notation and falling notes.

Quick help

Use regular iPhone in landscape to see the score and keyboard on one screen. Import piano MIDI from the app's file picker; complex multi-instrument files may not fit the current practice layout. Audio and video links do not provide automatic transcription of arbitrary songs.

If there is no sound, check app volume, device volume and Bluetooth or headphone output, then reopen the song. Performance recordings contain key events and export as MIDI, rather than microphone audio.

Membership: Piano play, song practice and MIDI import require an active membership. Choose a monthly or annual plan in My > Membership. Apple shows the price, trial eligibility and renewal terms before purchase. Use Restore Purchases for an existing subscription; manage or cancel it in your Apple account subscription settings.

Accounts: A Duo account is optional and is not required to purchase or restore membership. My > Account offers Apple or Google sign-in and account deletion. Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription or automatically clear local MIDI files and recordings.

Android test build

The Android version is in adaptation testing and has not been publicly released on Google Play. Versions with billing enabled use Google Play for purchase and restoration without a separate Duo account. Android and iOS memberships are independent. Adaptation test access is not paid membership.
